Dedicated to children's and YA authors
Despite being a fifth-generation Londoner, Lydia Syson learned to read and write in Botswana. She has worked with words all her life, first as a BBC World Service radio producer and later as an author of both adult non-fiction and historical novels for teenagers.
Lydia's YA debut, A World Between Us (Hot Key Books), was highly commended by the Branford Boase Award judges and longlisted for several other prizes. She also writes delightful, quirky picture books, which are handled by this agency. (Catherine Clarke at Felicity Bryan Associates represents Lydia’s work for older readers.) Lydia has four children, and blogs regularly at www.lydiasyson.com.
